The season of haunting is almost upon us! Fall is my favorite time of year and I while Halloween really isn’t my jam, I really like Halloween decorations and colors. If you like to send ghoulish cards, here is one for you.
Cut a card base out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.
Cut two layers of cardstock – one in Basic Black at 5 x 3 3/4 and one from Pumpkin Pie at 4 3/4 x 3 1/2.
Cut a piece of Old Olive cardstock to 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches. Emboss cardstock with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing folder.
Die cut the second small smallest Celebration Label die out of Whisper White cardstock. Use sponge dauber to sponge on Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Blackberry Bliss inks in a layered pattern.
Use an embossing buddy or dryer sheet to remove oils and static from the label die cut. Stamp greeting onto middle of die cut in Versa Mark ink then cover with white embossing powder and set with heat tool.
Stamp same die cut with the spider web design in black ink above and below the greeting. Adhere die cut to center of Old Olive cardstock using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Die cut two bats from black cardstock using the Celebration Label dies. Color with Wink of Stella and adhere Old Olive cardstock overlapping the label die. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals under the bat where it sits on the olive cardstock, use a dot of liquid adhesive underneath the bat where it rests on the label die cut to ensure each bat is level.
Adhere Old Olive layer to Pumpkin Pie cardstock then adhere Pumkin Pie layer on top of Basic Black cardstock; adhere black cardstock to Blackberry Bliss base.
Stamp a 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of white cardstock with the spider stamp and adhere to inside of card. Stamp with any greeting as desired.
