I have to say, the Merry Moose stamp set is becoming one of my favorites. Here is another Merry Moose card, this one is bit simpler than the last. Enjoy!
Cardstock measurements (all in inches):
- 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
- Scrap for die cut
- 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
- 5 1/4 x 4 for inside of card
- Scraps for Moose, ornament, and die cuts
How to make the card:
Run the piece of Old Olive card stock through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder then cut about 7 inches of the Double Stitched Red Ribbon and attach to Old Olive layer, wrapping the ends around the back. Adhere Old Olive layer to the Real Red card base.
Stamp the outline of the moose in Early Espresso ink, then use the solid moose stamp inked with Soft Suede ink to fill in the moose. Punch out moose.
Stamp the ornament by inking the ornament stamp with the Shaded Spruce and Real Red markers; cut out ornament with scissors.
Use the Beautiful Boughs Dies to die cut the background for the moose in Very Vanilla and the mat for the greeting in Real Red.
Adhere the Very Vanilla layer to the Old Olive layer then attach the moose and ornament to the Very Vanilla background using Stampin’ Dimensionals or Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the greeting on a 1/2 strip of Very Vanilla card stock with Early Espresso ink and adhere to Real Red mat. Attach on top of Real Red ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Place rhinestones as shown in picture or where desired.
Decorate and attach 5 1/4 x 4 inch piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to the inside of the card.
That completes the card. I’ll have another moose card later this week. Thanks for stopping by…please come back soon!
