NC Demos January 2021 Blog Hop – SAB

Welcome to the NC Demos January 2021 Blog Hop! If you did not come from Toni Campana’s blog post, please check it out – you will be glad you did!.

This month, we are featuring Sale-A-Bration (SAB) items. Sale-A-Bration will continue through February 28 this year. For every $50 purchased before tax and shipping, you get to choose an SAB Level One item and there are also some Level Two SAB items that you can earn with a $100 purchase. For my project, I used the A Touch Of Ink stamp set, which is a Level Two item along with the Punch Party host stamp set, which is earned with a $300 workshop or individual order during SAB.

Instead of making standard sized cards, I used the Note Cards and Envelopes pack because the note cards fit into the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes. This makes a nice card set that you can give to someone as a gift. The challenge was creating four different cards using most of the stamps with coordinating colors. Because A Touch of Ink is a two step stamp set, creating the backgrounds was very easy. One of the many things I love about Stampin’ Up! is that all of the colors in a color family coordinate so I chose the Subtles collection – also a challenge because I typically lean toward bolder, brighter colors. I used several punches, but you could use dies or cut out simple shapes without them.

  3. Dawn – Your cards are beautiful and really show off the amazing stamps that are included in the Punch Party and A Touch of Ink stamp sets. The color combinations that you used are perfect.
